This year the National Foster Care Conference will be held in
Melbourne, from 5-7 October. Put it in your diaries now.

This is a great opportunity to come to a conference in our home state. The aim of the conference is to provide a creative, constructive and enjoyable learning forum for all foster, permanent care, relative and kinship carers.

There will be workshops, panel discussions, keynote speakers,
snapshots of interesting and innovative programmes and,
of course, the conference dinner. There will also be ample
time to network and catch up with carers from other states
and territories as well as other Victorian carers.

Here is a link for the conference brochure. It looks like it is going to be a great time. There are many highly respected speakers going to be there so I hope lots of us are able to attend. I will be going with a couple of friends.
